26/01/2021 21:26:00 Problem with IBER sediment module / settling tank modeling I am actually using IBER to modelling an hydraulic structure in Colombia (a settling tank of a Small Hydropower Plant). This in order to analyze the hydrulic and sediment behavior. For this i have the information about the granulometry (D50 and others) for bed-load transport and the concentration of solids (g/l) for the suspended sediment transport. The data that have been entered into the model are presented below. The following data is the assign process in the structure. In the previous images, i have presented how the inputs of the sediments in the tank have been assigned, below i present come results obtained, which are not consistent with the real behavior of the sediments, it is to clarify that the results of the hydraulic behavior of the tank obtained in the numerical simulations with IBER, are the same as that observed in the reality (flow, velocity and levels). That is why I would like to know the correct process to model the sediment module and obtain the correct results. |
