I fully agree with the response of Marcos: the culvert element of Iber is made to help transfering water from one mesh element to another, not to study detailed flow conditions in the structure itself.

Meanwhile you can study the flow in a structure including potential pressure flow using the "lid"" element. It uses the Preismann slit approach and is most probably relevant for your case.
